Changaspis was named by Chien (1961) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Tojo Sepkoski's reference number: 463]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Corynexochida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Oryctocephalidae by Jell and Adrain (2003).
